MARINA BAR

As an Argentinian Israeli who recently moved to California I was always fascinated by different ways of living. Buildings and houses are the reflection of our history, present and future, a reflection of culture and imagination, the ability to create things from scratch.

Before understanding what architects are doing, I decided to be one. I chose to study for my bachelor's degree in Architecture and town planning at the Technion in Haifa, a leading university in Israel, where I was raised as a child.

Being an architect is not a profession, it is a way of living. As a daughter of an engineer I looked for a way to combine my passion for art with my love for logic and complex problem solving. Architecture allows me to integrate different requirements ,materials, composition and rules to a new creation that rises above all that to a place of safety, love and passion.
